Christmas Wishes

My Birthday

I had a great time with my family yesterday for my birthday. I turned fifty one years old and yet it doesn't feel that way at all. At least that's what I'm telling myself anyway. My wife was awesome as usual and my kids were great as well and I enjoyed my son-in-law and my grandson too. I'm looking forward to having a great Christmas with them as well and I'm looking forward to a great 20116.

I woke up this morning feeling pretty good and motivated. You know that feeling when you have something great coming and it's going to change your life. That's what I'm experiencing right now and I'm looking forward to it. I'm so thankful for my family and my life because it's nothing but the best and it's on the way for me and my family.

Monday on my Mind

I experienced a really humbling event last night when I attempted working a new job. It was really physical and it made me realize that at 50, I'm not as young as I use to be. The moral of the story is; STAY IN YOUR LANE...IT'S BETTER THAT WAY. Enjoy the rest of your day people.

I wonder why the Lord puts us through the tests he choses us to go through. I'm growing so tired of this storm that I'm going through. I will continue to pray for the strength to endure each trial and obstacle that I have to face in the coming days. I'm growing tired and I feel like I have the weight of the world on my back. I'm not a quitter so I will weather this storm and make it to the sunshine. God is still great and his blessings are ever flowing.

Paris France

ALL,

I decided to wait to comment on the despicable acts committed in Paris France. My family and I were there this past March for the Paris Book Fair. We had a great time and the French peoples were very friendly to us. The city of Paris is one of the most beautiful city's on Earth. I've always enjoyed going to France and it was my sixth time there. I wept when I heard the news of the attacks by a group of the biggest cowards on Earth. I became a soldier for many reasons but the events that horrible day reminds me most of all why I decided to serve my country. To fight against those who wish to take away freedom. Those who want to terrorize innocent people. Everything that is done in darkness will eventually come to light. Those cowards will be brought to justice and their punishment will be severe.

If I could get together my old unit I served with in Iraq and a few elite soldiers from the 88th MP company, I'd love to go after these cowardly bastards and rid the world of their existence once and for all. If they think this act of violence is going to stop freedom and bring the righteous people down, they are mistaken; I promise you that . Freedom comes with a cost and to take innocent lives is not the way to make change. I hope the French government and the rest of the world stands united against these cowards and work with every resource they can muster to track down the architects of these criminals and destroy them all. I love France and traveling all over Europe. I and my family will be back to see that country and all the beauty it has to offer. I'm a soldier and the red whit and blue colors I wear don't run. I'm not afraid and neither is my family because we will go forth and travel to wherever we please. France and the rest of Europe will see the Baylor family again, that is a true and real FACT!!

It's Saturday and I'm in the Lab working on my next book. I love the Art of Creativity and having the blessing of storytelling. I know I said it in an earlier blog post about Book 3 of The Montclair Murders coming close to its release date. It should be sometime during this month being the final touches have been made. I had a moment of disappointment in not having it ready for the Fall Festival last weekend. Oh well, you win some and you lose some but the Lord continues to bless me anyway. It will be a busy day tomorrow as we're having our annual Veterans Day Celebration hosted by my American Legion Post. I would ask anyone who knows a Veteran to thank him or her for their service. God bless all who reads this.

November 4th Thoughts

Everything I put my hands today will prosper and I will have good success. The blessings of the Lord cause me to increase in every area of my life. Today, I will walk by faith and not by sight. I hereby believe in my heart and say with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord of my life. Because in him all things are possible.

November 1st Thoughts

It's the first day of the month and the first day of the first week of November. As the new year rapidly approaches, we must continue to stay focused and prayerful. I've had a few ups and downs and setbacks along the way but I'm still excited about the future and coming new year. I've lost ten pounds after starting my diet two weeks ago. I'm on a mission to lose at lease forty pounds by January. My health needs to improve and I must do better about taking care of myself. If my health becomes an issue it will greatly effect my long term goals for my family, my writing and my company. The current book I'm working on is in my Sci-Fi series and I'm truly excited about it. The third book in the Montclair Murder Series is due for release this month and I'm even more thrilled for its' release. The Lord is so good to me and he will make sure I reach all of my goals before the year is over. Be blessed and remember to pray and read your bibles DAILY!!

Two 4 Tuesday

I had a minor setback last week medically. I went to the hospital with chest pains that made me feel like someone was standing on my chest. It turned out to be a type of reflex or something described by my doctor that I couldn't understand. Anyway, I'm going to see my cardiologist to get a more thorough examination and go from there. I'm not afraid because the Most High God has me in his healing hands. Thank you Lord for my life, family and friends.

I love being a dreamer and looking to the horizon. The future is great and as long as I have my families support, I'll reach all the goals I set for myself.

I've been on this journey for a while but I know every time I start to doubt myself, the Lord steps in and carries me. He's my main source of strength. I love the life he's giving me.

That morning I woke up and made the decision to submit my first book to a publisher was the first step in making my dreams come true. I'm glad I woke up from that dream and made it into reality. Thank you Lord for giving me the courage to do that.

It's the first day of October everyone. What are you looking forward to this month? For me, it's the release of my third book in my series: KELVIN KETTLE. Anyway, I was hoping to have it ready by this weekend because of the fair in Montross VA. Due to the hurricane, the fair got pushed back to the end of the month. With that delay, my book should be ready for sale at the fair; NICE! I had a great meeting with some important people today. It went really well and I'm pleased with how I handled the situation. I hope in the end it works out for me and I get the results I need. Anyway, it's a short one today so let me get back to business in the lab and I'll be back tomorrow with more great news.

Friday Wishes

I got a lot accomplished today and I really feel good about it. I'm prayerful that the Lord is going to come through for me and get me to the next level. I've made a decision to leave my last job after almost two years to return to NC from VA to be back with my family. I will continue to push forward and pray for what the Lord has for me. Everything I do is for my family and nothing else matters but taking care of them. I want to thank the Lord for all of his blessings and I'm excited about my future.

I left my current job on the 21st of August just one month shy of my two year anniversary. I felt compelled to do this because of a change I needed to make. A new job and an opportunity to return to NC to be with my family was the main reason why. There are several of my coworkers that I will miss but I won't be missing those early mornings and crazy DC/VA/MD traffic jams. God is good and my path is under is control and direction. Saturday Celebration

Today was a great day for me and Kamell. We went to a family reunion on my mother Inita's side of the family. It was really good to see some of my cousins I haven't seen in a while and my cousin Theodore did an amazing job with the meats. He's truly one of the best BBQ Chefs in the state and he never disappoints. I have BBQ sauce all over my shirt so I know I accomplished what I came to do; eat like a crazy man. "This is the day that the Lord has made, let us be glad and rejoice in it, Amen." I'm so happy to be in the position that I'm in. I'm about to have my third book published in my first series. God is great and he's in the blessing business. I want to thank everyone who's ever bought a book I wrote and read it. I need as much support as possible. This gift of story telling is so powerful and I'm compelled to share it with the world. If you believe that all things are possible through Christ Jesus, IT WILL HAPPEN! Anyone who doesn't have a spiritual connection is missing out on something truly great. God is waiting with open arms to greet all those who seek him. Through Christ our Lord, the Most High God is waiting to give you salvation. I never knew that at the age of eight, that it would lead me to the places I've been by putting my imagination to work and writing stories. I can't wait to get back to Europe again and experience such a great time. "Do what you can do God will show up to do what you can't do." A good day at work and it went by quickly. God is awesome as always. Another challenging week ahead and I'm looking forward to accomplishing a lot of things. My third book will be going to the publisher soon and will be out by the fall. Again, I'm happy to be on course and moving forward with my writing. Hopefully, this winter I'll be heading back overseas again to another book fair. God is great, all the time. Anyway, it's bedtime so take care ALL and keep praying daily. "You have not because you ask not"...so remember to continue to pray before you go to bed each night and as soon as you wake in the morning. Also, read your bible daily as well, the word is the most important "mental and spiritual food you can digest"...you heard that from me. Be blessed and remember to praise the Lord; ALWAYS!

July 11, 2015 A Rainy Saturday Morning

I'm at my sister's house and it's raining like crazy outside. So much for the BBQ/Fish Fry! Anyway, it's going to rain all day so our plans just got cancelled. I was looking forward to the grill and cooking up some really tasty treats. Oh well, "when it rains it poor's." God is still awesome ANYWAY!

Another Day

At the end of the day, you have to ask yourself a few very important questions; Did I do my very best today. Did I show compassion to others? Did I put the needs of someone else before my own? Did I take the time to thank the Lord for his blessings he delivered to me? If you did one, all or none of these things, before you go to bed tonight, ask the Lord to give you the strength to do them tomorrow.

It's the first day of the week and I'm thrilled for the start of the new week. I'm excited to complete all the goals I have set for myself including those for my family. I'm thrilled that a new job opportunity will be arriving soon and I can't complain about more money and getting back to North Carolina! Anyway, It's almost bedtime so I'm calling it a night, 3:30am is coming quickly so goodnight all.

Father's Day Thoughts

The day I became a father was one of the happiest days of my life. My father set the bar high and I've been working to reach, match, surpass and maintain a standard that I hope one day my daughters will realize. Markeeta and Aprilrain are and will always be the two greatest gifts the Lord has blessed me with. Thank you to the most high Father for the blessing of becoming a father myself. Happy Father's Day to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Through him, all things are possible.

The Beginning of the Week

I feel like this current journey that I'm on is about to come to an end and the next chapter is about to begin. I'm excited about that and I'm looking forward to the change. God is in the blessing business and I'm confident that he has a brand new crop just with my name on them. I've been toiling away at so many things that I feel like I could just give up. Obviously, that's not going to happen because I've never quite anything in my life! Anyway, I'm ready for the coming week and I'm ready to take on any new challenges that are coming my way. Sunday Evening Reflections

I'm ready to end a long journey that I've been on. The time that I've devoted to this has been overwhelming. But as the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche said: "That which does not kill us makes you stronger." I'm so strong right now until I can survive anything. With the Lord leading me down the path, I cannot go wrong. All the stress that I've been feeling is about to go away. The cloud of self-doubt and worry have hung over my head long enough. I'm ready to break free and the Lord has heard my cry. In the end, he will deliver me from this bondage and make me whole again. Patients is the key and prayer will light up the way. If anyone who reads this is going through something similar, I ask you to let go and let God take over. He is the way, the truth and the everlasting light; THIS I KNOW IS THE TRUTH!

Friday Fun Day

It's Friday (THANK YOU JESUS!!!), I can't wait to get to the end of the day and get home. I'm ready to make a major change in my life. I have to get better at what I'm doing because I'm not satisfied with the results I'm getting. Change is scary to some people but it's necessary in order to grow. I'm ready to grow so I have to change. I know what I need to do and I have to do it NOW! Once again, I'm going to pray about it then step back and let the Lord take control. Through him all things are possible. I'm a believer and I want to succeed so I must let him take control and do it all for me.

I can't wait for the weekend to get here. I want to go home and get some much needed rest with my family. I can't wait to get my business fully up and running so I can be my own boss and set my own hours. The Lord is with me so I know I can't fail. It was a tough challenging week at work. I'm glad I survived all the BS that comes with my type of profession. I'm at my sister's house for the weekend and I'm looking forward to hanging out with her and eating some crab legs and shrimp; nice. I worked on one of my stories earlier today and I was able to write about two thousand words. Now, it's time to get into relax mode and enjoy my family. I'm so tired and today at work was tough. I look forward to the weekend and seeing my family and especially my brand new grandson Jeremiah. I'm getting closer to getting my trademark approved for my company. I'm looking forward to going back to Europe and seeing Germany for the fiftieth time. 1BaylorBooks, LLC started out as a dream and now it's a reality. I always wanted my own business and I'm happy to have it. I'm going to continue to work hard and leave a legacy for my family. Everything I do starts and ends with them. I'm motivated by accomplishing goals that I set for myself. Every time I reach one and finish it, I feel great. This week I have a couple that I have in front of me. I've prayed to the Lord and he told me; "I got this...just stay out of the way and let me work a miracle on your behalf!" I answered; "father, you are my guiding light and the head of my life." "Through you all things are possible." I'm excited to see the results; God is awesome and he's always on time!

It's been a tough week since my last message. With the Lord's grace, I managed to get through the BS I had to deal with. It's getting harder and harder to succeed but obstacles pop up when you take your eyes off of your goals. I took my eyes off for a second and the BS got in the way. I make it a habit not to make the same mistake twice and I promise myself and anyone else who reads this that IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN! The Devil is a liar and he won't get in my way. Jesus is driving during this trip and I'm simply in the passenger's seat holding the map!

Another decent day at work today for a Monday. I got a lot done and didn't stress too much. The logo for my trademark is complete and it looks great. I'll finally have an official symbol for my company and I can't wait to show it off. The Lord is in the blessing business and he's always on time.

Another nice day with my family. I'm glad I came home this weekend. Being here calms me down and helps me to focus on having fun with them. It's my fuel to take on another stressful work week. I can't wait to get back here fulltime and be with the ones I love. God will make a way and he'll be on time as always; Guaranteed!

I had a very stress free day today at work; thank God for that! I'm getting closer to getting the logo complete and I'll have an official brand to trademark for my company 1BaylorBooks, LLC. The month of March will be over soon and Spring is already here. It's been a pretty good month beside the lousy weather. The Paris Book Fair was awesome and quite a learning experience. The contacts I made are really going to pay off. I became a grandfather yesterday which was really serial. I'm proud of my daughter and son-in-law because now they have entered into the next phase of their lives. I hope they experience all the love and joy I did in raising my kids and being a responsible parent. Anyway, let me get a few more things done before bedtime. Tuesday Thoughts

It's good to be back home with my family. I'm glad we had a great time in France and Germany. The trip worked out great and I made some really great contacts in the literary world. The Baylor Flag will be planted across Europe before the end of 2015. The Paris Book Fair was an incredible experience and I learned a lot. Writing and Publishing go hand in hand and I'm looking forward to becoming more of an active member of the society. My writing has taken me far and I'm looking to continue the journey. This experience has opened up a lot of doors that were previously closed. God is awesome and as long as I stay out of his way, the blessings will continue to flow. The journey is only getting better.

I'm happy to report the Paris Book Fair was a complete success. I enjoyed my time and I learned a lot. This book fair has given me a lot of information that I will use for the next fair that I attend. I can't thank all the great people that I met and the valuable information they passed on to me. Wednesday Thoughts

Well my family and I made it to Ramstein Germany today in one piece. The flight took seven hours and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Thursday Thoughts

This has been a very busy week at work. I had a lot of cases to process but I got the job done. I'm ready to get to NC and relax with my family. I can't wait to get to France and enjoy the experience with my family. God is great and he's always on time.

Wednesday Thoughts

I can't wait for next week to get here. My family and I are heading to France for the Paris Book Fair. The Eiffel Tower and the most beautiful painting ever created (The Mona Lisa) will be on the schedule for us to see. God is awesome and I can't thank him enough for opening that door!

Monday Thoughts

Today went pretty smoothly for a Monday. Got a lot of stuff done at work and I managed to do it without going mental :). Anyway, I'm going to get further tomorrow than I did today and get a few more crucial things done that I need to get done. The one thing I look forward to about tomorrow is that you never know what's going to happen until it arrives. Peace and blessings be upon whoever reads this.

Sunday Miracles,

MIRACLES,

Miracles happen if you just believe. I believe in miracles because they happen every day. I had a miracle happen to me the moment I woke up this morning. Miracles are just that simple but they don't require any effort on our parts. A simple belief in them is all you need. When you wake up tomorrow, thank the Lord for that first miracle of the day. The next thing you do is pray and watch what happens next!

Sunday; The Quiet Before The Storm

Well it's Sunday and the first day of the week. I can't wait to get started on my next major goal. What happened last week won't stop me. I'll use baseball as an analogy; I might strike out every now and then but eventually, I'm going to hit that homerun. Monday will be my first at bat for the week. I'm aiming for that 400 sign dead center field as soon as the pitch leaves the pitchers hand!

Friday Finally

When you have a major setback in life, turn it into a minor one in your mind. A setback can only defeat you if you let it! The one I had this week isn't going to stop me from getting to my goal. I will continue to push forward NO MATTER WHAT!! I'm not going to get disappointed about what happened this week. I'm going to take this setback and turn it into motivation. This setback will be the next log I throw on my motivational fire.

Wednesday Wonders

According to the weather report, it's going to snow really bad. I hope I can get into work tomorrow because I'm going to France in less than two weeks. I want to be able to go to the Paris Book Fair uninterrupted. Hopefully, it will happen with no delay because I want to go every day to the fair. Anyway, God is able and I'm not worried.

Tuesday Chilling

It's nice to have things fall into place with the least amount of effort. I'm glad that I learned how to push through challenges that I face on a daily basis. I would hope that anyone who reads this will do that if they're not already. Anyway, it was a great Tuesday and I'm ready to go to bed early so take care and have a great nights rest. Saturday Feelings

If you are in search of something special, the one thing I recommend you do is to never quit. Even before you begin it would be smart to formulate a plan. Things will be a lot easier if you do that and stay focused. When things get tough, and it looks like you might fail, stop and pray. It works, let me tell you. Also, anticipate obstacles and try to push through them no matter what. I would tell anyone that you're not to old to go after a dream or a goal. I got my bachelor's degree at 46 and my master's at 48. I just turned fifty and I'm seriously considering going to law school. Of course, I'll be insane by the time I'm done but at least my kids will know that their dad is a doer and not a talker.

Wednesday, Hump Day Thoughts

I'm so very thankful for my life and all the blessing that the Lord has given me. I pray that whoever reads this will experience it as well. I'm getting closer day by day to a very big milestone in my life. I'll be so happy to share and celebrate it with everyone the moment it happens. I'll continue to pray about it and let the Lord work another Miracle for me. God is good and he's always on time.

Tuesday Evening Thoughts

I like when work is busy because it makes the day go by really fast. It was a pretty busy but productive day today so that's a good thing. I reached out to some new business contacts today and hopefully, they'll help me get to the next level in my writing and other goals. I'll keep pushing forward until I reach each and every goal that I set for myself. With the Lord on my side, I can't lose.

Saturday Successes

Another productive day in the record books. I had an awesome day with my wife on her birthday. We spent part of the day with her girl scout troop out selling cookies in this cold weather. We have a tough group of young ladies and they did us proud because we sold a lot of cookies today. My writing is going great and I can feel it getting better. Man, don't you love it when things fall into place; I DO!! God is awesome and his blessings are overwhelming!

Friday Celebration

Today's my 17th Wedding Anniversary. I feel truly blessed to be married to such a wonderful woman and friend. Dorothy, thanks for being my wife, partner, help mate and companion. I'm glad you chose me for this journey and I hope the Lord blesses us with many more years. I love you baby and thank God he made you for me.

Tuesday Snowed In

This weather sucked badly. I'm glad to have the day off but I'd rather be working to be honest. A day of missed pay sucks no matter how much you'd enjoy a day off. Anyway, life is still awesome and I have no one but the Lord to thank for it. Be blessed everybody! I'm still pushing forward with my writing and it's really great. I love storytelling, it rocks!

Monday Reflections

Had a very productive weekend working on my books. I got so much done that it made me feel really great. Spent the weekend with my family and that's always a great thing. All I need to do now is win the next big lottery and I'm set for sure. God is awesome as always and with him the impossible is possible! Keep on pushing forward and working towards finishing what you've started. I feel like if I continue to do that, I'll get what I'm searching for; success!

Saturday: An adventure in Storytelling.

Good morning all. It's time to go to work and make the magic happen. It's story telling time and I'm psyched. I'm ready to continue the journey into the abyss of my gift from the Lord. Storytelling is awesome! Book number fourteen of my crime series is looking pretty good. The future looks bright.

Thursday Feelings

It was another great day today and I'm thankful that everything worked out. I'm ready for a three day weekend with my family to relax and enjoy myself. The weathers not to bad right now but it can change at any moment. Thank you Lord for such a productive day and the blessings you bestowed upon me.

Wednesday Thoughts

I did a lot of research today and I found some good stuff for my business. Soon I'll be able to get my trademark and finally have a symbol for my brand. I want to get into bulk sales for my books and really expand overseas. 2015 is going to be the year to get to the next level for 1BaylorBooks, LLC. I'm going to keep my feet on the ground and continue to reach for the stars. "I went old school on that quote!" :)

What a productive day today and I feel good about what I accomplished. I look forward to tomorrow and getting even closer to my goals. One step at a time, one day at a time, one goal at a time. Peace be with you all.

Monday Moments

What a tough day at work today. I'm glad to have a job and it does have its good moments. I'm tired because I just finished working on my most recent book. I'm going to have a few more glasses of Merlot, then call it a night. 4am comes pretty fast around here so God bless and good night :)

Saturday Thoughts

When you're faced with a challenge what do you do? Do you take it head on or do you run away. For me, it's pretty obvious; I walk straight up to it and punch it in the face! My challenge today is to get things done. I have at least five major things to do today before my head hits the pillow tonight. With the Lord on my side, I will not fail!

Thursday Thoughts

It was a great Thursday and I'm glad it's almost over. I'm looking forward to having a great restful weekend with my family. I love them all so very much. I'm ready to take my career to the next level in 2015. I'm so ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work. I want to get my third book published by this summer and move forward in my writing as well. God is awesome and blessing filled!

Wednesday At Home

A slow day at work today so it will be an early bedtime tonight. I'm tired and I don't even feel like writing and that's unusual for me. Be blessed all.

At the end of the day you feel a sense of accomplishment and relief. The night goes by way to fast and you end up awake and back at it again. You're motivated to succeed at whatever you're faced with. In the end, as long as you did your best and gave it your all, success will come easy. Be blessed everyone and goodnight.

Sunday Afternoon

Happy Sunday to anyone who reads this. I'm up in my office working and thinking about the future. My plan is to make a final decision on the trademark for my company and getting the third part of my thriller out by the summer. I have a list of goals I'm looking to achieve before 2015 comes to an end and I plan on clearing out my list one goal at a time. My advice to anyone whose having doubts about chasing your dreams is this; "As my father told me a long time ago...the only person that can stop you from achieving anything is the one who's staring back at you in the mirror!" Dream big and never stop chasing your dreams!

Saturday Update

I just finished writing the first parts of chapter one of my fourteenth book in my crime series. I really enjoy that genre and it seems to me to be the easiest to write. I'm strongly thinking about specializing in it because the words flow from me as easy as breathing. I have twenty books planned for this series and I can't wait to begin releasing them to the world. It's Saturday afternoon and my break is over so it's time to go and get lost in another of my stories. Happy reading, writing and imagining to you all.

A Wonderful Day

I got a lot of research done today for my company 1BaylorBooks, LLC. I should be able to get the design I need for my trademark done within the next week or two. I'm every excited to have an official symbol for my company that will represent what I'm trying to do. It truly was an awesome day today.

I'm in my office right now working on my next book. It's raining here in NC and it looks like this weather isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Oh well, this is the kind of weather that calls for you to be curled up under a nice warm blanket with a nice glass of Merlot and a good moving on the TV. My Thoughts

Have you ever had one of those days where everything fell into place. Today wasn't that F'ing day for me! :) Sike...I'm just kidding, it was a decent day at work and my family is doing great. I talked to my baby brother Gerald and that made my day. Eventually, he's going to be better than he ever was and one of the main reasons why...his older brother is going to help him get there! God is good...all the time and everything else comes in second. Peace be with you!!
