Monday Thoughts #1 - 7/30/2018

Good evening friends. It's been a fun filled Monday here in NC. I had a pretty good day at work and now I'm home relaxing. I'm a little tired but for the most part it was a good day. I'm hoping to here some good news soon from another position that I applied for. I'll be heading back to DC if it comes through. I want to go and have some dinner now and watch a little more TV before bed. I had a cousin of mine to pass away yesterday and I'm sad about that. He was only 22 years old and that sucks. That ways to young to be leaving this world. Anyway, let me get some wine and finish decompressing. Take care everyone and have a great evening.

Good evening everyone. It's been a pretty good Sunday at home with my family. I'm getting ready for Monday and all of what's ahead. I'm hoping to get some good news from one of the pending positions that I'm trying to get. I'll be taking my daughter out to do some driving to get all of her hours that she needs. I'll be starting a new workout this week as well and I'm excited about that. I need to loose some weight and it's time to work on that goal. Good evening everyone. It was a great first week back to work. I'm still trying to work the rust off and it's been challenging. I'm looking forward to advancing my work goals by moving back to work in DC. It's going to be happening really soon and I can't wait. I'm in Clemmons NC now with the American Legion. I'll be back home tomorrow to rest and recover from this weeks work. Anyway, I'm in my hotel room with my family and we just had a great dinner together. Now it's time to rest and chill. Good evening everyone. I had a pretty good appointment today with this potential new job on the horizon. In a couple weeks I should know if I'm a go or not. I'm wrapping up things now in my office and I'm about to head downstairs to have a couple glasses of wine and to relax for the remainder of the evening. I'm going to have the grandkids over this weekend so that should be pretty fun and that always makes for a good time when I'm with them. Thursday Thoughts #1 - 7/19/2018

Good morning everyone. I've been dealing with a lot of issues in my life that have really been troubling me. Being unemployed was at the top of that list. I hate not having any money and having to limit my contributions to my household. I'll be starting a new job soon and I'm so thankful for that opportunity. This storm that's been around me for months will soon be coming to an end. I can't wait until I get that first paycheck. I don't have a saving account so I know that will be one of the first things I do; PAY MYSELF FIRST!! I have a pretty busy dat today as well and I have to cut my grass and continue to get ready for a big meeting I have tomorrow. I'm ready for that breakthrough to arrive and I can't thank the Lord for what he's done for me. He's allowed me to weather this storm and he's blessed me with the patients to do it as well as the strength not to give up. He's an awesome God and his love is eternal. Wednesday Thoughts #1 - 7/18/2018

Good evening everyone. What a hard day today for me doing yard work. I cleaned the leaves and twigs from my front yard after the hedges were trimmed and then I went over to my daughter's house and cut her grass. I'm so whipped right now and ready to go to sleep. I'll be cutting my grass in my yard tomorrow so it will be another day of mowing my lawn and sweating like a pig. A job called me today so that looked pretty promising. Tuesday Thoughts #1 - 7/17/2018

Good evening everyone. I'm so pleased to report that my daughter passed her test today and was awarded her driver's permit. It was a very happy day for the both of us. She was so excited and smiling big as ever. Now, it's driving time as I try to teach her how to be a responsible driver on these dangerous roads. I told her the moment we left motor vehicles; "number one, no texting and driving young lady" in which she smiled at me and said; "okay dad, I know not to do that because "I've never seen you do that." I smiled back at her and said; "exactly." So we left and had a victory breakfast together and that was nice as well.

I'm still working on a few things now for my next book as well as my new job I have in the works. I had a very good day today and my baby girl was the icing on the cake. It's starting to rain now which we really need here in NC. All this dry hot weather was miserable and I'm sure the plants and singing a happy tune now that they're getting some much needed water. I had a nice dinner and now it's wine time as always for me at this time of the evening. I hope everyone has a great night and sweet dreams. Good evening everyone. What a busy day today with tomorrow will be even more busier. My daughter will be taking her test tomorrow for her learner's permit. I'm so excited for her and I'm know she'll do really well. I'm getting ready for my meeting on Friday about a new job so I'm getting really excited about that. I'm up in my office now and I'll be going downstairs to have some dinner. Man, days like this are good and they go by quickly when you're busy. Friday Thoughts #2 - 7/13/2018

Good evening everyone. What a crazy day today that I had. I babysat my grandkids, fell down the stairs at my house and I got a call from a buddy of mine who I hadn't spoken too in about two years! I did get some good news from a job. I have to sit down with a security investigator to go over some last minute items on my security investigation before I can start my job. I'm excited about that because this will be the final stage before I start this new job! I'll be praying all weekend for this one so pray for me as well.

I'm also beginning a new book in my newest crime series as well and I'm very excited about that. It centers around an Italian family and it's generational. I won't give too much away but I'll say it's going to be another masterpiece (I refer to all of my books as masterpieces so deal with it)! I had a good time with my grandkids today. Jeremiah is three and Lily is one and they are none stop energy. I'm so happy to have them in my life. My legacy will continue through them and that makes me happy and joyous. Good morning everyone. I have so many things on my mind and I'm frustrated that it seems that everything I do doesn't work out for some reason. I'm trying to tell myself that it's going to be okay but it's getting harder and harder to continue moving forward. I need a breakthrough soon or I'm going to do something drastic. What this is I have no clue but something has to change. I'm tired of doing the same thing and getting the same results. I guess in order to make a change, I have to change and change soon. In order to get something extraordinary, I have to be extraordinary. I have to change the direction I'm going in and change my attitude.

It starts and ends with me so I better do something now because quitting is not an option. I'm not a quitter and to even say the word makes me angry. Monday Thoughts #1 - 7/2/2018

Good morning everyone. It's the first Monday of the Month of July and now that we've officially past the half-way point of 2018 I take a look back on the first six months with very little to celebrate. I thought I'd have a lot more things accomplished than I have and that's disappointing to me. I've had way to many setback during the first six months to truly make an overall impact on the goals I set for myself this year. Anything from family issues to unemployment have contributed to my shortcomings so far this year. I'm pissed off because I thought so many that I've dealt with wouldn't have happen like they have but they did. Oh well, time to suck it up and deal with them head on.

This week is going to have a few pitfalls that I'm already aware of and it's pissing me off already. It's amazing how some people think they can put their problems on you and expect you to be the problem solver. Well, to those idiots let me tell you this; IT AIN'T HAPPENING SO TAKE YOUR CRAP ELSEWHERE!! I'm going to will myself to having a great week no matter what bullshit that may pop up. I'm not going to allow things outside of my control to take control. That's advice I'd give to anyone who'd want to hear it. My moto for this week is to stay focused, stay committed and stay on course! No distractions this week from outside forces will win this week!
