Friday Thoughts

Good afternoon friends. Another Friday in the record books and I'm glad it's here upon us. What a kick ass of a week and I'm glad I got everything I needed done. I'm in my office and I'm about to start wine time early. My throats a little sore for some reason and it's very annoying. My head hurts as well and I'm hoping I'm not coming down with a summer cold which would be weird for me. Anyway, I'm going to get some meds in me then have my wine early. I hope everyone has a great weekend so take care and be safe out there.

Thursday Thoughts #1 - 8/30/2018

Good afternoon family. Another Thursday is almost over and I wonder how much did we truly accomplish today. As for me, I got a lot done today and I feel pretty good about that. I'm hopeful to be even better tomorrow. My day began at 2:30am this morning when a friendly neighborhood bat decided to invade my bedroom. You want an adrenaline rush people, try battling a bat that early in the morning when you have to pee...it ain't the easiest thing to do while trying not to piss on yourself.

I'm up in my office working on a bunch of things as well as practicing my French on the Babbel program. It's pretty awesome and easy to use. I'll be a French speaker in no time you guys. Well, let me get back to work so take care and may the light of the Lord shine brightly upon your life!

Monday Thoughts #1 - 8/27/2018

Well today was another day filled with hard work and a little stress. I'm so looking forward to my trip in December to Germany. It's been four years (Paris 2014) since we were in Europe. I want to see as much of the area as I can. I'm looking forward to the great food, wine and friendly people. I miss going every year in December like I use to. We have Thanksgiving at our house but when Christmas rolls around, we head to Germany for my birthday and to celebrate them both. Man, I can't wait.

I'm still working on my books and a lot more things in preparation for 2019. It's never to early as my mother use to say back in the day. Man, I'm so tired from today's work for some reason. I didn't sleep to well last night so I'm hoping tonight I can actually get some much needed rest. I'm currently looking for more resources to sell my books abroad. I'm always on the hunt for new opportunities. Well, it's time to get something to eat so let me do that and I'll be back again for more updates.

I had to work this weekend and as much as I need the money, it was a bummer. I don't mind coming in to work to help out my company so hopefully, it will mean something to them down the road. Friday Thoughts #1 - 8/24/2018

It's Friday and I'm so happy that it's here. I'm so ready for the weekend and I can't wait to simply relax and enjoy my time off. I'm going to get caught up on a lot of things that I was unable to get to during the week. One thing I want to do is take my time and simply look over my life. I had an exchange today with the Pope via twitter and it was very good. He gave me some words of wisdom and encouragement. If the Holy Father says God's got your back...that's all I need to hear.

I'm going to do some serious writing this weekend as well and I'm going to do a lot of research as well. I have a few things I need to check out and I look forward to the chase. I applied for a couple jobs in Germany but I didn't make the cut. Life goes on and I will be traveling there this December for my birthday and to begin taking our annually family vacation once again. I'm really excited for that because it's been four years in the making and it's so long overdue.

I'm going to cut grass and reorganize my office and get rid of a lot of junk that I've been holding on to. If the junk is over five years old and is covered in dust, it's going in the trash; no exceptions. I want to take some time also to call up a bunch of my friends that I haven't spoken to in a while and the list is very long. Some of them may not even want to talk or consider me as a friend and that's fine as well. I'm moving forward and bettering my life whether they're in it or not!

Anyway, let me get some work done now in my office and make a few calls before I get tired. Wine time is almost here and I can't wait to open this new bottle of Shiraz that I bought. I love wine and I love trying different brands from around the world.

Wednesday Thoughts #1 - 8/22/2018

Let apologize for not posting as I regularly do. I've been busy with a few things that have taken up a lot of my time and energy. Anyway, I'm here now and I'm glad to be able to post after this brief period away. Had a job interview that went really well and hopefully, I'm the chosen one for that. My family is doing pretty good and my youngest daughter is getting ready for the start of her junior year in high school. My grandkids and growing up and doing great and I have no complaints at this time. I feel pretty good and will be working on a few new things coming up for this month. I'm still preparing for my European trip to Paris and London next year. The trip will be in March so I believe it's never to early to start planning to go away. I had pizza for dinner and I'm about to have some wine while I wrap up my work in my office. I have an early day tomorrow so let me get some TV time in before bed. Friday Thoughts #1 - 8/17/2018

Good evening family. What a challenging week and I feel like those are the best kind. It feels good when you tackle all the task you have for the week. My family was very supportive and work was nice as well. I have a big appointment coming up next week that I'm excited about and I'll talk about that after it's over. Monday's: I like days like today because of how challenging it was and how I still managed to get all of the things on my to do list done. I got my grass cut and a wide assortment of other things so now I'm taking the rest of the evening to relax and chill. I have to go to work tomorrow and I'm ready to do that as well. Sunday Thoughts #1 - 8/12/2018

It's been a pretty good Sunday for me. I had a good time at church and now I'm at home with my family. I really like days like this because it reminds me how special family is. I'm getting myself ready for tomorrow because it's going to be a pretty challenging Monday. I have a very busy week ahead of me with lot's of things to get done. I'm hopeful that a few goals that I set for myself will be complete and my week will be awesome. Saturday Thoughts #2 - 8/11/2018

It was a pretty good day today for a Saturday. I had a good meeting with my American Legion Post and now it's the evening time and I'm home relaxing. My feeling about moving forward and ever changing and I'm on the road to a much better place. I want to go overseas again for vacation in Germany. It's been since April 2014 when we went to the Paris Book Fair and that was an amazing experience. Authors and publishers from all over the world were in attendance and it was a great time to network and meet great people. I think that's why I'm looking forward to next year and going back over again to make my long overdue appearance. Anyway, that what's on my mind for today. It's wine time so let me get busy and pour that first delicious glass. God is great and his blessings are awesome.
