Wednesday Thoughts - 6/30/2021

Good evening everyone. I had a great day celebrating my grand daughter Lily's fourth birthday today. She had on Angles wings and looked so cute. My baby girl had a great day today. It's always fun watching your children and grand children growing up. I enjoy every minute I spend with them.

Working on my new job was pretty busy today also and I'll be going to training next month and that's going to be pretty nice as well. Well, let me go and eat some more cake and ice cream with my Lily! Take care everybody and be safe out there.

Monday Thoughts - 6/28/2021

Good afternoon everyone. It's Monday and I'm a little under the weather. I ate some watermelon from a local grocery store and it made me sick. It was the first thing I ate on Sunday morning for breakfast. About forty-five minutes later, my stomach began to rumble and it was all down hill from there. I had chills and body aches and my old friend diarrhea showed up and it was game over. Please excuse me for sharing that information with you but I have to get the frustration off of my chest. My entire day was ruin by a bad piece of watermelon! I still feel a little dehydrated and sluggish but I'm trying to work through it. Anyway, let me get back to work so I can go to be early and get some rest. Take care everybody and be safe out there.

Friday Thoughts - 6/25/21

Good morning everyone. It's the last Friday in the month of June so make it count today! I'm in the middle of completing the required courses for my new job at home. I will go to training next month for about three weeks I think. I can't wait to get started and making the best out of this situation. I might do some grilling this weekend as well or I may go up to VA to visit some family. I'm going to get a haircut today because my Afro is getting bigger and bigger. I think my car has a leak in the radiator because I keep smelling antifreeze when I'm next to my car. I'll have to take it in and get it checked out. Monday Thoughts - 6/21/2021

Good evening everyone. I'm later than usual posting this message today so let me apologize for that. I've had a pretty hectic day today so please be patient with me. I spent most of the day in editing my Sci-Fi book as well as about four meetings with various people. I'm really tired and I'm ready to go to bed. Tomorrow I'm hoping will not be as busy as it was today. I still have more editing to do as well as work on my newest Sci-Fi book. I really could use a vacation about now and I can't wait to take that first trip for the year. Anyway, let me wrap up my day and get some rest. Tomorrow will be challenging and hopefully fun for me. Good afternoon family. It's Friday and I'm so thankful the weekend is here. I'll be firing up the grill to do some serious cooking. My Corona's are chilled and I have all of the fixings I need to have an amazing weekend. The weather is going to be sunny and it's the perfect setup for a great weekend with my family. I can't wait to get started! I don't have much more to talk about at this time. My books are progressing along and everything is falling into place. Wednesday Thoughts - 6/16/2021

Good morning everyone. It's another day amongst the blessed and highly favored! I'm in my office doing what I do best; working on another masterpiece of American literature. Well, it's debatable but that's what I feel like each book that I write is. An undiscovered masterpiece of American literature! I'm in the middle of editing my Sci-Fi book as well as working on another. My newest addition is going to be pretty nice to read. I have to do a little more research on a few topics that I want to add to this book. I'm hopeful to have it finished by the fall. I also want to finish the third book in the Nilus 7 series by the end of the year as well. I've been bouncing back and forth between these two books at a pretty good pace. Anyway, today is going to be pretty busy for me so let me get back to it. Take care everybody and be safe out there.

Friday Thoughts - 6/11/2021

Good afternoon family. Well, we made it to Friday and the weekend is upon us all. It was a pretty good week for me here. I'm about to start my new job with Piedmont Airlines which is a subsidiary of American Airlines. I'm so excited to be back in the airline industry. I love to travel and I feel this job is going to be a great fit for me. After all of those years in the government, this is going to be a great change of pace for me. I worked for ComAir back in 2003 and they were a subsidiary of Delta Airlines. I really enjoyed that job as well and I can't wait to get started.

I went to the grocery store and bought a huge bag of chicken wings to cook on the grill this weekend. They were already seasoned but I may have to add a few more of my own special spices to give those wings a real kick in flavor. I think the weather for this weekend here in NC is supposed to be sunny and in the nineties. I'll make the most of the weather and have a great time cooking for my family. I may have to make one more trip to the store for some last minute items but other than that, I should be ready to go in no time.

Anyway, let me finish up all of my remaining tasks for today so I can get back to enjoying my family. I hope everyone who reads this has a safe and happy weekend.

Thursday Thoughts - 6/10/2021

Good evening everyone. Let me apologize for the lack of messages. My internet went down for almost a week. It sucked because of how long it took to get back up. I was so angry with the lack of logic in getting it back on track. Anyway, I'm able to post now and I'm happy for that. It was weird not being able to access the net on my computer. I was able to get a lot of writing down on a personal level but other than that, it was as quiet as the night's sky. 

I'm in my office now and the sun is going down but you can't tell due to the overcast sky due to the storm clouds that moved in. A lite rain has begun and it makes me sleepy just looking at it. My Sci-Fi book is coming along well as we're halfway through the development stage. The front and back cover looks amazing as well and I couldn't be happier with the results. Well, let me get back to work and finish up for the day. I'll definitely be back tomorrow with the end of the week report. Take care everybody and be safe out there.

I have two nieces that are graduating next week and I'm so proud of them. I'll be going to both graduation ceremonies as well so I'll need to go and pick up gifts for them. Good morning everyone. I hope everyone is having a great day so far. I'm happy to announce that I landed a new job with Piedmont Airlines! They're a subsidiary of American Airlines and I'm so happy for the opportunity. I use to work for the airlines out in Kentucky where I use to live. I worked for Comair which was a subsidiary of Delta Airlines. It was a pretty cool job and I can't wait to get started. I had breakfast this morning with my grand daughter Lily before I took her to daycare. She smiled at me and told me she really loved her pancakes and that they were her favorite breakfast to eat. I love my little baby girl and I was happy to spend that time with her. Anyway, let me get back to work. Take care everybody and be safe out there.
