Upcoming Event

On Friday, September 22 - 24, the Baltimore Book Festival will be happening at the Baltimore Inner Harbor from 11am to 7pm. I will be there to do some networking and meeting fans who will attend the event. It lasts the entire weekend so please come out and attend.

Friday, a Day of Purpose and Change!

I have to remember that the only person that could ever prevent me from reaching a goal I set is me! I realize for the first time in a while that I've allowed so many negative people to get in the way of my happiness. I've allowed them to influence my life in almost every aspect. Well boys and girls, that bullshit has abruptly came to an end. I've began the process of cutting off negative assholes who try on a daily basis to disrupt my joy. Forget them all and every negative bit of bullshit that they bring to the table!

My dad told me back when I was a teenager something that is as true and real as the sunrise and sunset. He said to me this; "if you hang around with "ain't shit people" eventually, you'll become an "ain't shit" person! Surround yourself with positive people doing positive things and positive things will happen to you!" I was doing just that recently but then I let my guard down and some of the "ain't shit" people managed to creep their sorry asses into my circle. I got rid of two of them this morning and it felt great. I have a few more to get rid of and my weekend will be awesome.

Anyway, I'm at work now so let me get to it. I'm heading home to NC for the weekend and I can't wait to see my family. God bless everyone who reads this message and remember what my dad told me...get those "ain't shit" assholes from out of your life. The sooner you do that, the happier you'll be!

A Great Day

I'm claiming that today is going to be a great day. I will accomplish every goal I set for myself for today and everything will be okay. I'm at work and I'm ready to face the challenges that lie ahead. I have to get my book finished and submitted to the publisher. I'm excited about that and I'm slowly getting my finances in order. 2017 will end on a very good note. God bless everyone who reads this message.

COWBOYS WIN!

My Cowboys started the season off right with a win against the Giants...thank God they won. On to Denver to kick the Broncos ass! My Patriots are going to bounce back against the Saints and shut those haters up really fast! They're talking about how Tom Brady should retire...bullshit on that. Anyway...new business.

I'm at work getting ready to get busy and I'm excited for the week. I'm not anticipating anything new but I welcome the good news that's on the way. I'm heading home to NC this weekend and I'm looking forward to seeing my family and especially my grandkids. I'm ready to start a new project of sort all I have to do is find one and make it happen. I need to get my book finished as well and keep moving forward. Anyway, let me get to work and thank you to everyone who reads this message. Have a great Monday!

Feel Good Friday

I'm hoping my family is safe during all these hurricanes. I'm worried for them and everyone else in the path or Irma. I'm at work now and I'm a little busy which I like because it makes the time go by faster. Anyway, let me get back to busy so everyone who reads this take care, be safe especially if you're in Florida, Texas and the Carolina's.

What's on my Mind

I'm praying for the people of Houston and all of those who are displaced because of this massive hurricane. Now, as people are working towards getting their lives back in order, here comes Irma heading towards the Caribbean and Florida like a runaway freight train! Lord, please spare us more pain and loss of life because of these types of storms. I'm hoping that the loss of life and damage to property are at a minimum; wishful thinking I guess!

I'm in the middle of getting book two closed out and I'm excited about that. I've finished my part of the editing so on to the next phase of the process. I had a great weekend with my family and my grandson Jeremiah. I'm so proud of that little man and I know he's going to grow up to be a really great human being. Magic Monday

It was a good holiday weekend with my family. I left early to get in front of the heavy holiday traffic; great decision! I'm glad it's going to be a short work week as well. I'll have time to relax and get caught up on my rest. Anyway, let me get back to my rest and I'll be in touch.

Smooth Sunday

It was a good week and I'm glad I made it home safely after driving from northern Virginia to North Carolina in a very heavy rain. I had to stop a few times because I could barely see past the front of my car. I thanked the Lord I made it here safely to my family. I'm going to enjoy the rest of my time at home and do some grilling today. I'm going to go and get some breakfast and spend the rest of the day with my family. God bless all who reads this message.

Friday

Well it's Friday September 1st which marks the beginning of the month and a new beginning in general. I'm ready to go home for the weekend to see my family in NC. It's been a long week but a productive one. I'll be working on my book this weekend and hopefully, spending time with my grandchildren. Anyway, it's time to get busy at work so to everyone who reads this, have a great weekend!

Pay Day Part 1...Thank You God

I'm glad that it's time to get paid. I hate paying bills but it is what it is. I'm going to enjoy my holiday weekend with my family. I'm going to do something special with my family and friends. Anyway, let me get back to work and finish strong!

Thinking of the Future

I'm thinking about my writing career and how I need to jump start it again. I'm slipping badly into a funk that's seems to be very difficult to get out of. Oh well, I'll figure a way out like I always do with everything. I have to work harder to get book number four finished by the end of the year and start immediately on book five to complete my first series. Life wouldn't be a fun if it didn't have the challenges that come with being ME!
