Good evening everyone. It's been a few days since I wrote a post. I've been pretty busy with a lot of personal things going on. I was offered a job in DC but after a few things and a serious evaluation, I turned it down. It sucks but I feel it was the best decision for me at the time. I'm probably going to spend the next six months here in NC (October 1st to March 31st). I'm going to spend the winter here and after that, head north to DC to pursue a higher salary and better opportunity.
My fourth book has just been released and is doing very good already. I'll probably get number five to the publisher by the spring so it can be ready for release by the summer. Writing is one of my great joys and it has been that way since I've been eight years old. I'm on a mission now to get working here in NC and save as much money as I can so when I make the move to DC, I'll be able to take care of business from day one. It's Sunday and I'm here with my granddaughter Lily watching football.
I'm hoping to hear from a finance company this week about the business plan that I submitted for funding. It would be so awesome to get the answer I've been waiting for and get my business up and running. That's one of the many dreams I have and with any luck and God's help, it will happen. Well, it's time to open up a bottle of wine and finish watching football. Cheers!
Remember people, stay focused, stay committed and stay on course. The
journey is the test, the finish line is the reward. Take care everyone
and thanks as always for your support. God bless you all.
