Good evening everyone. It's hard not to get frustrated sometimes when everything you're trying to do falls short or blows up in your face. The first part of my day was pretty good but after lunch, everything went to hell really fast. Murphy's Law in full effect! I spent the rest of today trying not to kill people who pissed me off one right after the other. Usually, I'm pretty good at keeping my cool but I had to take several "moments" of peace and serenity before trying to end the situation I was involved in. When the dust settled, I managed to throw about six "Hail Mary's" with surprisingly good results. I hope my Thursday isn't like that because if it is, I'll probably stay in bed!
Anyway, I'm in my office eating pizza and trying to relax. My head is hurting slightly after a day like today and all I want to do is to wrap things up and get my glass of wine that will be filled to the rim. I need to slip into my recliner and close my eyes and think happy thoughts as I slowly drift away to my happy place. I haven't had my butt kicked like this in quit a while. I need a vacation soon or I may loose my mind. I'm thinking Paris or London would be the ideal spot. Just to walk along a quiet clean street, doing some window shopping or touring a museum would be pretty sweet. I'd love to see the Eiffel Tower again and take another river cruise drinking Champaign and enjoying the breeze!
Well, I guess I better get going now and prepare myself for my slow and steady drifting into the abyss of happiness and enlightenment. I have a bottle of Montepulciano D'Abruzzo (2016) that I'm excited to open and drink. Now I'm not planning on opening and drinking the entire bottle but I'm going to shoot for at least half or three quarters! Take care everyone and have a great night. I'll be back tomorrow with more words of wisdom and encouragement. Au revoir, Adiós & goodbye!
