Good morning all. It's been a couple days since a wrote a message. I've been busy working on my books and spending time with my family. I'm very concerned with this hurricane that's coming this way. It's tearing Florida apart and it's heading towards North Carolina. We're prepared to leave here if we had to. I had a great time at the Duplin County Wine Festival this past weekend and I sold a lot of books and made a lot of new friends. Good morning family. Well, another Friday is upon us. I'm glad to see it's here. I'm so ready for a relaxing weekend at home with my family. I'm planning a weekend of rest and leisure. I don't want to be stressed about anything at all. I will be screening all calls so that I don't talk to anyone who wants to bring drama into my day. I simply want to fire up the grill, do some bbq'ing and listening to music. I hope the weather will be nice to add to my wonderful weekend that I have planned. Good morning family. It's Monday morning and I'm ready to face every challenge that's ahead of me. I had a good weekend with my family and watched a lot of football as well. All of my teams lost and that sucked. My Red Sox are in the toilet so no baseball playoffs this season. Oh well, 2022 has been a so so year for my sports teams but I still have joy. As it's been said over and over again, there's always next season! If you count this month, there are four months left so I have to made each of these last months count. I hope that the VA comes through soon so I can move to the next phase of my life. I want to continue working out and building strength so that I can be a healthy grand father to my grand kids. Good morning family. Well, it's the day after Labor Day and I feel pretty good. I had a great day yesterday with my family. I did a little grilling and everything turned out great. I cooked brawtwurst, chicken and hamburgers on the grill. I also made collards, corn on the cob and baked beans. My daughter brought over some Heinekens to drink and we had a nice time together. I have a light day today with not to much on my schedule. I need to take my car to the dealership because the engine light came on and has been on for the past four days. I don't think it's a major problem but I want to have it checked just in case. Also, the hatch lock won't open and I need to get that checked out as well. I'm going to check on the status of my paperwork with the VA to see how that's going too. Well, let me get to work so I can finish early and chill for the rest of the day.
