My Mindset on Monday
I need to get a better handle on my health. My weight and other things are in serious need of a change. I need to eat better and exercise more. When I left the Army, I weighed 230lbs with about ten percent body fat. Now I'm 265lbs with thirty three percent body fat! Absolutely horrible! I'm fat, lazy and my energy is very low. I've got to get myself in shape again before my health gets worse. I'm not going to put this off until the end of the year and make it some stupid new years resolution. I'M STARTING TODAY!!

Thoughts Of A New Beginning
Having the courage to take changes is a powerful thing. It's a scary process when you decided to take a chance and step out on faith. I'm apprehensive but at the same time excited for the new opportunity that awaits me. Risk is necessary sometimes when you need to recreate yourself. I'm not in need of a new me, I just need to stop doing some of the same old SH!T over and over again. Anyway, I'm at work so let me get busy.

Wonderful Wednesday
So far it's been a decent week for me at work and at home. My exercise program is working well and I do feel a lot better. I have to stick to the plan as well as doing exercise on the weekends and not taking those two days off! When I do take Saturday and Sunday off, Monday's workout seems that much harder to get through. I will find a way to make this happen and I will continue to move forward. A healthy mind and body is one of my goals for 2017 and I'm planning on making it happen!

Reflection
Last week was bad for me when it comes to my finances. I spent entirely too much money and it sucked. The next two weeks I will refer back to my days as a minimalist and only buy things that are essential to existence. I can only look at last week (8/13/17 - 8/19/17) as how you shouldn't manage your money. Too many mistakes, too many impulse buys and too many unnecessary purchases!

Friday 8-18-2017
I'll be finished with work soon and ready to get my weekend started. I'm going to my uncle's funeral tomorrow and I know that it's going to be tough. I will miss him and everything he's done for the family. Uncle David, rest easy and remember you will always be loved by your family. R.I.P.

Work Day - Hump Day - Fun Day
It's Wednesday and I'm at work. I have to say that today's a great day especially when you're employed and enjoying what you do like I am. I'm so glad I went back to work at Northrop Grumman. They're a great company with great people...period. Anyway, let me get back business. God bless and take care!

Sunday - Chill Day
Well, it's Sunday once again and I'm in my place in MD just relaxing and typing this post. I worked three straight weeks with no paycheck due to I started in the middle of the pay cycle. I'll finally get some money soon so I can actually stop worrying. Anyway, I have to keep it short today, I'm ready to go and take a nap. Be blessed and safe out there you guys!

Smooth Sunday
Good morning everyone and thanks to all who took the time to stop by and read this message. It's Sunday morning and I'm at my place in MD. I took this weekend to stay here and not go home to NC to give myself and my car a break from the traffic and the stress of driving. I spent yesterday writing and working on the fifteenth book of one of my crime series. I'm excited about it and it's going to be really good once the series is released. I miss my family but it's going to make when we get together next week, that much nicer. I have a taste for some chips and salsa so I'll probably be heading out to get some shortly. I'm going to look over my book list to see which one I'll be working on next. I've written thirty one so far with three published and number four to be release by this fall.
I spoke to my wife earlier and she was on her way to church. I miss going with her and it's such a nice time to worship together. Well, it will be lunch time soon so let me get busy before I have to take care of my chips and salsa craving. Take care everyone and be safe out there today. God bless you!

A Lazy Saturday
Well, I made it through the second week back to Northrop Grumman; it was pretty good to see most of my old coworkers again. I'm glad I made the decision to come back because I needed a change and it was time for one. Now all I have to do is work hard but pray about my situation even harder.

Northrop Grumman Day 1
I went back to an old job that I left about two years ago. My old supervisor was still there and she made today really special. I was glad that I made that choice and I look forward to nothing but good things now that I'm back. I want to thank Northrop Grumman for giving me a second chance to be better than I was the first time. The future looks great and I'm glad to come back and contribute to the success of this great company.

July 4th
I want to wish my sister Gloria Jean Baylor a Happy Birthday! God bless you big sis, I love you and enjoy your day!
Well, I finally left the Justice Department on the 30th of June. I'm heading back to Northrop Grumman. I'm excited to be going back to a job that I enjoyed doing. I'm ready for this change and the new beginning that it brings. Change is good, scary but necessary in order to grow. I need to grow more as a man, husband and Christian. Anyway, I'm editing my fourth book and hopefully it will be ready for release by the fall. Well, I'm going to go and fire up the grill and take care of my family.
To all who read this, have a happy 4th of July and may God bless you all.
